Established in 1997, Camus Pharma Pvt. Ltd is a merchant exporter company. Starting from a turnover of USD 40000 the company has enlarged its business and has achieved a turnover of USD 2 million. This year when company’s website is being relaunched , it has set out an ambitious target of USD 5 million and is poised to hit the bulls eye as it has confirmed orders worth USD 3.5 million. The company has a grand vision of USD 30 million by the year 2010.

The company has gradually got into manufacturing its own products in the form of tablets, capsules, oral liquids, granules and dry syrups adhering to cGMP standards. It has a highly competent team to plan and execute production. It is poised to achieve success in producing relatively new formulations and provide quality drugs at affordable prices. The company’s management is responsive to the market dynamics, with an emphasis on anticipating and understanding customer needs through constant communication initiatives.

In the years to come, patent regime will be a big challenge for medium scale companies. The company is aggressive in generic market world over. It is currently exporting to CIS countries (including RUSSIA), Germany, and Cyprus. We are now in dialogue with countries world over for product registration and marketing. Manufacturing

Our manufacturing unit is well equipped and modern multi-product cGMP facility matching international standards. The production line consist of new generation fully automated machinery like fluid bed processor (FBE- 125) of Glatt Germany and fully automated capsule filling machines (AF-40T). There is separate production line for beta lactum and non-beta lactum tablets and capsules. A separate service area is provided for utilization and maintenance. The company displays its total commitment to the environment by means of adopting appropriate garbage management systems and checks and controls to minimize environmental emissions. Adequate safety measures are also taken in the plant.

Quality
Quality can never be achieved by accident but is a result of systematic and scientific adoption of quality policy laid down by the management. To achieve the best quality, the company has adopted an integrated Quality management system in accordance with cGLP norms; international standard and customer requirements. The system undertakes validation of equipments, process, cleaning & analytical methods. The QC laboratory is equipped with highly sophisticated computerized equipments.

The Quality Assurance Department ensures that the manufacturing facilities and procedures are standardized to provide international quality attributes for every batch through a well documented, validated and audited system. In addition the department continuously monitors & ensures that SOPs are strictly adhered to round the clock. The department evaluates the quality and stability of the Finished Products on both long term and short term basis by conducting Stability studies.
